Katie is passionate about all things art - creating it, collecting it, studying it, and viewing it. In fact, she claims there is a gravitational pull whenever an art studio or museum are in her vicinity - as her husband and son can begrudgingly attest to.

She is also a true believer that everyone should have original pieces in their homes, something truly unique, something that speaks to them, something all their own.

When it comes to her own artwork, Katie subscribes to Winston Churchill’s philosophy, namely, “We cannot aspire to masterpiece. We may content ourselves with a joy ride in a paint box. And for this, audacity is the only ticket.”
